Day 40 - Surprise!

Tonight we dropped the kiddies off to spend the night at gran and grump's place and headed off to Paul's surprise 40th dinner at Lime Leaves Thai restaurant in Queanbeyan followed by drinks and dancing at Walsh's
It was also my first night out not breast feeding or pregnant in over 3 years. I had and was night and was very drunk.
Here's hoping that I don't wake up with a nasty hang over.

Day 39 - Friday

It's Friday and I've managed a good walk every morning this week, so feeling good. Looking forward to a nice restful weekend after a few crazy days and nights with the kiddies. Pics today are of when Mack was giving herself a bottle and Hunter was copying and then he decided he would give her the bottle.

Day 38 - A play and a kiss

Miraculously Mackenzie woke up like she had never been sick (yay for Pheregan), so the play date and catch up with Min and Maddie that I cancelled yesterday was back on.
I can't believe they are about to move away again so rude. But there is still time for Hunter to woo Maddie and he went in for a kiss.

Day 37 - Sick little girl

Poor Mackenzie woke up with a cold this morning and by the afternoon looked like a high as a kite snott machine. She also didn't have a great night sleep so was very tired and unhappy all day. I'll be drugging her with a dose of Pheregan tonight in the hopes that it helps with her running nose and helps her get a better nights sleep to help with recovery.

Day 36 - Forgotten Photo

Today I forgot to take a pic until later in the day so while Hunter was having snuggles before bedtime I tried to get a photo of him from the front while sitting beside him. I'm not very good at it clearly as this off centre one was the best I got.

Day 35 - Happy Birthday

Today was Glenn's birthday so we had his present waiting for him in the lounge room when he got home from work, which luckily Hunter was around to help unwrap. Owen, Gen and Alice came over for curried sausages (glenn's Fav) and a slice of Woolies chocolate mud cake.

Day 34 - A walk around Lake Burley Griffin

This morning the kiddies and I joined Owen, Gen, Jas and Alice for a walk around lake BG. Hunter wanted to walk like Jas and refused to go in the pram. I was so surprised at how well he did. Gen and Owen had a buggy board attached to their pram ready for when Jas got tired and Hunter had a few short goes on it. Definitely seeing a need for one in the near future, Hunter is really getting into getting indepenant with walking and I'm happy for him to walk as much as possible and get Mack into the front seat of the pram so she can be laid down for sleeping while walking.

Day 33 - Clever Girl

Just a quiet Saturday at home. Miss Mack is getting very clever climbing up to stand using everything she can reach, which now includes Hunter's little table. This does not impress him as she is always trying to steal his food and he is always pushing her away and therefore over. Mackenzie is very determined though is mostly climbs straight back up again and again.

Day 32 - Helpful Hunter

So lately Hunter is right into helping with grocery shopping and whats to help with the scanning and loading the trolley. His latest helping is pushing the basket around the shops. Very cute, but oh so slow!
